Dmitri was born in Odessa Ukraine. After graduating for the Construction Institute of Odessa with a Civil Engineering degree, he immigrated to the US in 1975 and started Adco Roofing in 1989. He currently serves as President of Adco. Dmitri values the success of his employees and is responsible for the strong family atmosphere at all four companies.
Andrew has been involved in Roofing for the majority of his life. After working up to, then spending 10 years as a Vice President at Adco Roofing, he now runs the day-to-day operations for Adco. Andrew also serves as President of A-1 Construction. Prior to becoming a VP, Andrew finished his BA at UCSD, then completed an MBA at Loyola Marymount while working full-time. Andrew is excited to have the opportunity to plant the seed and help Alta grow.
Marcus started his career with Adco Roofing in 2009. Prior to coming to the roofing industry, he finished his BS in Business Management at Cal State – Dominguez Hills in 2005, while working as a manager for various small businesses. Marcus is an Eagle Scout and an avid knife maker and outdoorsman. His natural managerial skills and business education, as well as his tireless work ethic, helped him move up through the ranks at Adco quickly, and make him an ideal Managing Director/CEO at Alta.
Accounting Manager / Controller
Helen has been with Alta Roofing since December 2014 and is our Accounting Manager, handling AP, AR, Payroll and Collections. She shares an office with our resident cat, Alta Meow. She comes from a background in other construction trades and in specialty pharmacy. In her free time she enjoys organizing large events and feeding penguins.
Office Manager / Project Manager
Nubia started working with ALTA in February 2016 as an Office Administrator and has worked her way up to Office Manager and Project Manager. Prior to her involvement in the roofing industry, she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Biology at San Diego State University in 2010, and worked as Office Manager in the health care industry. Nubia works as a motorcycle safety instructor during the weekends and enjoys being close to the beach in her free time.
Greg has been onboard with Alta Roofing since 2015. He has experience in multiple construction trades. For years prior to working for Alta, Greg was a vulcanizing technician specializing in industrial conveyor belt systems and ran a residential handyman business in his spare time. He is a motorcycle enthusiast and enjoys anything on two wheels. He can also be found out on the water learning how to sail or in the mountains camping and hiking. He takes pride in his work and the opportunities to provide great customer service.
Joseph De La Cruz
Repair & Maintenance Manager
Joseph is the newest member to the Alta Roofing family. He comes to us with a HOA property management background, which helps in his position as the Repair and Maintenance division manager. Joseph is a music lover and sports fan, also enjoys Disneyland with his two teenage boys. Joseph’s motto is you get out what you put in, we enjoy having that type of work ethic here at Alta.
Mike Rucke is a sales manager at Alta Roofing & Waterproofing. Mike graduated with a degree in political science and communications from the University of St. Cloud and is a U.S. military veteran. A hands-on kind of guy, Mike has prior experience building greenhouses and formerly served as project manager for Alta’s roofing and waterproofing projects. Mike is bilingual in both English and Spanish.
Bela immigrated from Hungary when he was just 19. In 1976, he moved from New York to Southern California and began his career in roofing. Bela started with ADCO before the company was even incorporated, in 1986. He moved from ADCO to sister company ALTA Roofing in San Diego to develop ALTA’s repair and maintenance division. He enjoys traveling and history, and he is very proud of his daughter who is in medical school on the east coast.
Meet our resident cat, Alta Meow! She was welcomed to the Alta family in August 2016. She’s a friendly multi-tasker who handles any wayward mice on the property and warmly greets visitors. (We’re just joking about mice, of course.)
